Hoodie Make Over Schedule

Links for Supplies I’m Using

  • Inspiration for this project from KNL Reworks Co on Facebook
  • Hoodie: Mine was purchased at Hobby Lobby. You can use an old hoodie you already have. Make sure you like the fit of the hoodie you use.
  • Quilting Cuddle: New low pile Minky from Shannon Fabrics. It can be purchased at local quilt shops and online. In my sample I used Whispering Blooms Mystical Quilting Cuddle in Purple (floral print). Solid Quilting Cuddle Really Purple and Juniper. For the hoodie I will be making in the livestreams, I’m using Whispering Blooms Charmed Quilting Cuddle Purple and solids Really Purple and Juniper.
  • In the Hoop Sweatshirt Pocket File
  • Serger: Brother AirFlow 3000 Air Threader. I’m using a 4 thread overlock stitch. You could also use a sewing machine.
  • Kai Scissors
  • Seam Ripper
  • Paper or something to trace your hoodie pattern
  • Basic sewing skills required

Schedule of Lives

  • Lives will be at 11:00am central on the following dates.
  • Watch on Embroidery Garden’s FB page Or YouTube Channel 
  • I won’t be posting reminders. My recommendation is to subscribe to my YouTube channel as Facebook can be unreliable at times when it comes to live-streaming.

Note that I will not be stitching everything during the lives. I will give you enough instruction that you can complete the project.

For the hoodie I will be making in the live streams I used Quilting Cuddle in Whispering Blooms Charmed Purple, Juniper and Really Purple

  • Stitch the hood and install eyelets for the drawstring
