Oval Clothesline Bread Boat Virtual Class
March 19 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Use this link to sign up for this virtual Zoom class
In this class Caroline will teach you to machine sew a handmade, rustic oval shaped “Bread Boat” with optional fabric accents and decorative/contrasting stitching, using 100% cotton clothesline, as well as ideas for simple embellishments. Bonus instructions are included for a simple quilted bread stone warmer pouch and a mitered bread cloth that can be made any size you choose. The bread boat, warmer pouch and bread cloth are completed using a regular sewing machine.
There are no embroidery designs included. The bread cloth sample shows a leaf design from the Hand-Sketched Floral Borders set and an imported letter. Another bread cloth shows added tatting. The download will include 3 PDFs, one for each project. Also included is the link to the bread warmer stone that Caroline used.
During class the construction of the bread boat and warmer pouch will be shown. If time allows, we will go over bread cloth construction.
