Hexagon Insert Clothesline Bowl Virtual Class

Caroline will show you how to machine sew a handmade rustic looking bowl using clothesline with a hexagon wood base. Learn how to attach the wood insert to the clothesline and then sew the bowl. Add design elements to the bowl with decorative stitching, fabric and / or decorative beads.
Basic supplies needed for this class include the following
● 50′ of 3/16″ or 1/4″ Cotton Clothesline
● Wood Insert. There are 2 options available with an adorable bee theme. Purchase a hexagon wood insert HERE
● Sewing Machine with an adjustable zigzag stitch (Optional: Decorative Stitches for
additional embellishment)
● All Purpose thread or 40 wt. Polyester Embroidery Thread
● Bobbins filled with matching or contrasting thread
● 90/14 Topstitch Needle
● Zig Zag Presser Foot (J foot on Brother machines) or Satin/Monogram Stitch foot
(N foot on Brother machines)
● A pair of sharp scissors
● 1-2 Wonder Clips or similar product
● Blue Painter’s Tape or similar product
● 6-8 wooden beads that fit on 3/16″ or 1/4″ clothesline (5 – 6mm diameter)
● The lace flower shown in the sample projects is not included.
